Mrs. Lisa’s and Mrs. Margie’s PreK students at Ackerman Elementary learned about penguins and other polar animals. They pretended to be penguins during a math lesson in which they had to count fish to feed the penguins. The students were given fish to eat also. #teamAES

**BASKETBALL SCHEDULE UPDATE**
The basketball games versus Noxubee County scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 26th have been rescheduled for Friday, Feb. 5th at the Ty Cobb. Varsity girls will tip-off at 6:00 followed by Varsity boys at 7:30. Thanks for your continued support.

Weir Elementary School is so thankful for support from our community members. Mississippi Lignite Mining Company recently donated $500 to the library at WES. The donation will be used to provide more books like those pictured here. The lives of our students are enriched when they read and new books always make reading more enticing to the children.
