Over the next two weeks, we will be sharing exciting news about the accomplishments of our Choctaw County School District students and teachers!
When statewide assessment results are compared with schools and districts across Mississippi, our students have given us many reasons to be proud. From individual schools earning some of the top rankings in the state to CCSD placing among Mississippi’s highest-performing districts in several grades and subjects, there is a lot of Charger Pride to share!
Beginning on Monday, we’ll highlight these accomplishments one by one and recognize the those who made this possible.

Thank you to our local law enforcement for helping keep Choctaw County High School and Junior High safe. This morning, they assisted us with our required lockdown drill, and it was a great success.

We appreciate all you do for our students and staff! Thank you! ❤️💙

🇮🇹 ITALY IS CALLING! 🇮🇹

I am SO excited to share our next EF Tours adventure… we’re going to ITALY in 2028!

This trip is open to CCHS students who are CURRENTLY in 7th–11th grade!

Imagine walking through places you’ve only seen in pictures and history books…
Exploring the streets of beautiful Florence
Standing in the Roman Colosseum
Experiencing the canals and unforgettable sights of Venice
And, of course, eating our way through Italy along the way!

This is going to be so much more than a vacation. It’s a chance for our students to experience another culture, see history come to life, gain independence and confidence, and make memories they’ll talk about for YEARS.

INFORMATIONAL MEETING COMING UP!

Parents and students who are interested should RSVP for our meeting to hear all the details!

We’ll talk about the itinerary, what’s included, safety, payment plans, scholarships, and how to save $250 with early enrollment!

👉 RSVP HERE: https://rsvp.eftours.com/fg835cp

Only families who attend the meeting will receive first access to enrollment, so be sure to register!

Thank you to Mississippi Highway Patrol Trooper Bryant Flake for speaking to our Driver’s Ed classes today!

Trooper Flake discussed what law enforcement looks for on the roads, teen driving fatalities and their causes, what to expect during a traffic stop, the importance of wearing a seatbelt, and other real-world driving situations.

Thank you to Coach Talley for bringing in guest speakers to help our students learn about safe and responsible driving! 🚔🚗

Mrs. Gardner’s class held their first real debate as an anticipation activity for their upcoming short story, The Most Dangerous Game!

Students chose their side in THE HUNTER vs. THE HUNTED and defended their positions. After they finish reading the story, they’ll revisit the debate to see if anyone has changed sides!

A great way to get students thinking, discussing, and engaged before the first page is even turned! ⚡📚 #ChargerNation

In Mrs. Hulett's Zoology class, students played the game Spoons to review the 9 Major Animal Phyla. Students had to match four cards to grab a spoon. The four categories of cards were phylum name, name meaning, examples, and the picture. Students had a lot of fun learning in science! #CCHS
